Elaine welcomes any commissions for animal portraiture and natural history subjects. Other subject matters may be taken in to consideration, but are subject to discussion. Photographic References Where possible, Elaine prefers to take her photographs and sketches of the the subject(s), therefore enabling her to capture character and likenesses in the finished portrait(s) as truthfully as she can. She would be happy to travel within the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire areas to meet clients and subject(s). However, should a home visit not be possible, Elaine will happily work from your own photographic reference, but please make sure your images are of the highest quality and portray any major details you require within the drawing or painting (e.g. favourite photograph, pose, etc.).   Cost  Depends upon the complexity and the amount of time taken to produce individual artworks, rather than size and also, whether the finished item requires framing.
