Privacy:
The artist, Elaine C. Geall endeavours to keep personal data safe and secure as possible. Personal data given (email, postal address, etc. ) will NEVER be misused or given to third parties. For further information on privacy, please see privacy page.

Copyright:
All images on this website (of drawings, paintings, photographs, etc.) are copyright of Elaine C Geall.
As the artist, Elaine C. Geall retains the copyright to all works commissioned to her by the collector or collectors, created by herself, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright.
No artwork may be reproduced or altered without the written consent from Elaine C. Geall.

Commission Payments:
Following mutual agreement between artist and client(s), 50% of the agreed sum must be paid up front before artist begins work.
 
50% payment is non-refundable.
 
The balance will be due upon the artwork's completion.
 
Payments:
All payments due must be paid in full, before artwork(s) are despatched.

Payments by cheque, to be made out to 'Elaine C. Geall'.

Deliveries:
The client or purchaser will be notified which of these it will be, prior to purchase.

UK deliveries: To reduce risk of damage in transit, all artworks are packed securely and appropriately by the artist prior to despatch. Purchases of original artworks will be sent using Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Sign-For or Parcelforce express48 services. 

Overseas Deliveries: Additional charges will incur for artwork shipped overseas. Parcelforce Worldwide globalpriority and globalexpress services are used most. Worldwide globalpriority guaranties delivery within 3 working days and Worldwide globalexpress guaranties to deliver from 1 working day, costly services they may be, but both parties can be assured that deliveries of artwork(s) will be tracked until they reach their destinations.
 
Refunds:
Purchase price will only be given if the artwork has been damaged in transit. 

If your artwork has been damaged in transit, please contact the artist within 24 hours of receipt of damaged artwork so the artist can email you a copy of Proof of Postage.

You the customer, will then be solely responsible for seeking compensation from the appropriate Postal Service.

NB: commissioned artworks are non-refundable, as they cannot be resold.
 
Undelivered or Damaged Goods:
If you the client or purchaser have not received your artwork within a reasonable time period, please contact the artist.

The artist can then email a copy of the Proof of Postage or the receipt from the Post Office or Courier. After which you the client or purchaser will need to obtain and complete a claim form for the fore mentioned artwork. In first instance, the courier or postal service is responsible for the delivery of the order and therefore it is them, you must initiate all inquiries and claims.

You the client or purchaser must report all problems regarding your order within 24 hours of receipt. The artist will endeavour to make better any problems customers may encounter.
